When you show a neural network a picture of a dog, the first layer might recognize simple edges and colors. The next layer combines those to recognize shapes like ears and eyes. The final layer puts it all together and says, "That is a dog." This is the technology behind facial recognition and self-driving cars.


 3. Generative AI

You’ve likely heard of Generative AI (like the technology powering this article's creation). While traditional AI is analytical (it looks at data and classifies it), Generative AI is creative. It learns the patterns of human language, art, or code, and uses that knowledge to generate entirely new, original content.

The Three Levels of AI


Not all AI is created equal. Experts generally categorize AI into three levels based on its capabilities:

* Email Spam Filters: AI constantly learns the tactics of spammers, quietly filtering out junk mail before it ever reaches your inbox.
